Right then. Super easy as long as you're pointed in the right direction. If you'd like to have your gamercard posted here within your signature or - God forbid - stray from this board and want to have it in your signature there or on MySpace, etc., follow these simple steps:
- Click this link to get back to the frontpage of MGC.net - (IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o31/mercurybst/cfac91d4.jpg) Now fill in your gamertag in the 'GamerTag:' box. Select your language preference and theme then simply click the 'Generate GamerCard Code'. - (IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o31/mercurybst/429a404e.jpg) Now just click on the 'Forums (Image)' tab and copy the code then paste it into your signature box here, or elselwhere. If you're wanting this for MySpace, click the 'MySpace (Flash)' tab instead. Enjoy. To enable your country flag, online status (ie. Removing 'Powered by MyGamerCard.net), etc. Click on the 'My MGC' link in the upper right hand corner of any given page you're on here: (IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o31/mercurybst/screen-capture-8.png) Click the 'Edit Your Account Settings' link: (IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o31/mercurybst/screen-capture-9.png) Select whichever options you'd like to have enabled, then when you're finished click the 'Submit' button: (IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o31/mercurybst/screen-capture-10.png) |

Yah i did that but theirs nothing on it all it says is my gt and it doesnt show my games or anything else Check this topic out. It should answer your question. To paraphrase, Xbox.com's having problems, so we're suffering the same - thus your issue's happening to a lot of people, and there's no need for concern - it'll be back to full working order once Xbox.com's fixed. What you need to do is add it to one of you description fields (like the Interests box) as HTML code which you can copy and paste from the generator on the front page of MGC. |

Ok so I'm using the flash code on my MySpace but whenever I click on my gamertag or the name of the games, the gamercard doesn't bring up a new window to bring up my stats. It works here on these boards for all the gamercards in peoples profiles as well as when I was viewing the gamercard with the code right next to it on the creation page. Why is it doing this?

It works here on these boards for all the gamercards in peoples profiles as well as when I was viewing the gamercard with the code right next to it on the creation page. Why is it doing this? MySpace may be restricting what the card can do for security purposes. I cannot be sure though as I haven't used MySpace in a long time. I'm trying to upload to a forum but all it says is "The avatar filetype must be .jpg, .gif or .png" if i try the BBC code and "The file at the URL you gave contains no data" if i try the simple URL. Help? You don't want to be uploading the card from a web address. You need to see if the forum supports remote linking to another website for avatars (it'll ask for a web address). If it doesn't, then you'll have to save your card to your computer, then upload it. But doing it that way will mean it will not update. If you cannot get it to work the best bet is to just put it in your signature. |

How do I put my gamercard on my desktop, cause I'm using Windows Vista. The following is our options in Vista: (Original Post) I made a post a while about our options in Vista. There may be some newer ones since then, but I haven't seen anything better yet. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Yeah Vista changed the way a lot of stuff is done, and that is one of the ones that affects us. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Maybe Morgon (or someone) should update the instructions to say that it doesn't work in Vista. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Like Dynamo Matt said there are some sidebar gadgets that will do the same thing. I'll link you to some of the ones I know of / or think work well.
I will add that there is another option if you use Yahoo widgets. They have two available. I use the GamerCard one by Chad Poulson (in conjunction with the #1 from before). I like it because it automatically updates itself every 10 minutes. You can also set it up to use any of the different MGC themes since it's linked to the address of the card. Hope that helps you out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

I can link my gamer card, but the ones that require you to be registered to use are not working. "Presesce" specifically. help? You registered quite recently, and the system can take a couple of hours to properly realise you've registered, so this time delay may be the problem. Also, you need to log-in to the MGC site, then select 'MyMGC' from the bar running along the top. On the next page, choose 'Edit Your Account Settings' and tick all the boxes before clicking 'Submit'. This enables the settings for the 'card. After having done this, it may take another hour for the system to update, but it will then hopefully work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) mgg |

Thanks. I'll just be patient then. I have "presence" linked here in this forum as well, and still the standard one shows up.
Like I said though, I'll wait. |

Your base card still doesn't appear to have all settings enabled.
