This morning, Microsoft released an update to the Profile Section on My Xbox that allows you to edit your Name, Location, and Personal Bio right from Xbox.com.

This allows those without a 360 Messenger Kit to quickly tell the community about themselves, which is not only visible on the Xbox console, but now on Xbox.com! When you view a member's GamerCard on Xbox.com, you can now see the information they allow you to. (Privacy Settings apply!)

You can directly access and edit your Personal Profile from the following page:
https://live.xbox.com/accounts/PersonalProf...Management.aspx

These are great additions to the Xbox.com website, and certainly welcome changes for the community.

It's about time - typing it in with the controller was very slow and painful (IMG:http://forums.mygamercard.net/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I have a usb keyboard, so it's no big deal for me to type stuff, but it's great to have that functionality added to the website.

Yup, it really should have been there from the day they added it on the console.

Yeah, I never understood why it didn't just show up then. I tried to go in and write something when the option was first released, but found it wasn't available. It seems kind of antithetical to me, having it available on the console and not the website as that's more of a website/community aspect, IMO. Ah well, we have both now. Huzzah!

You do know they have at least 20 other languages to support, right? I'm betting that much of the delay had to do with that.

The dashboard update was six months in the making. They had plenty of time to get that done if they'd gotten their act together (they must have had to get the dashboard translations done, so why not the website ones at the same time?).

You know I was just thinking the same thing the other day as I was trying to add more info to my bio (clan name and affiliation etc.) it's about time they fixed it.

No offense, but responding "Finally" in a topic created back in early '08 is sort of...not right.

No Morgon, Canada's internet is just delayed a few months. I don't think they are even getting the newest set of gamercards up there yet.

finally

At first I just thought Raffy was slow...an oddity even for us Canadians. As rare as a Sasquatch siting but then he posts again the same exact thing. Then I realised he's a Leafs fan and it all made sense.
