Something very similar to an idea I had in January has become reality! 360voice.com allows you to enter in your GamerTag and then it'll track what you've been up to and make reports to an RSS feed as if written by your console. Here are some of the inner thoughts from Major's console:

Major Nelson's Xbox - 04/14/06
If Major Nelson was a true gamer, he would have played yesterday, but he decided to do something else instead. He better not have another console...

Major Nelson's Xbox - 04/3/06
Major Nelson hit the switch and fired me up yesterday. His total gamer score is 3262. He played The Outfit, Oblivion, and did it while marvelling at the framerates and stellar particle effects.

Major Nelson's Xbox - 04/5/06
Did you see Major Nelson yesterday? I sure didn't. Is he still alive?

Major Nelson's Xbox - 04/10/06
Major Nelson showed up yesterday ready to dominate. Total gamer score stands at 3372. He played Oblivion, and without even blinking! Ok, maybe he blinked once...

This service is totally cool. Now it just needs a little more variety in the comments related to the games played. For example, what my idea said in January was "Good morning. Tangled Spider still has a Rep of 5 full stars because everyone loves him. His GamerScore is 3265 and he currently has more GamerScore in Hexic than you. Are the ikkle bombs hurting you? Aww"

To get your own, head over to their site and enter in your Tag. It says it'll take a couple of days before it says anything but that's so it knows what to say. Have fun!

PS. The actual website uses MGC cards and not Microsoft ones! Could it get any more awesome?

Interesting. I did want to do something like that, but never got a chance. Kinda neat they use us for cards, as long as they aren't leeching us for the actual data (IMG:http://forums.mygamercard.net/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

they should offer different types of feeds -- one that is sarcastic, one that is like a oxford english professor (righteo chap! (IMG:http://forums.mygamercard.net/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ), one that is a hard rocker (holy f***ing sh*t this dude is AWESOME! party on garth!), and then something else.

I emailed them to say thanks for what they're doing and also congratulate them on choosing to show our cards. We could do something similar in future or if they get really good we could ask them to consider being a 'sister' site. We already have an awesome achievement site.

The best way they could improve would be to compare to the person viewing it as in this example again: "His GamerScore is 3265 and he currently has more GamerScore in Hexic than you. Are the ikkle bombs hurting you? Aww"

They can't do that at the moment on their own because they have no way of knowing who is viewing the feed. I'm not sure if it's possible at all actually. Maybe from their site if they had people to login but not from a feed.

That site is so cool. I just hope my 360 doesn't feel it is as neglected as Major Nelson's!

RageKage657's Xbox - 04/24/06

I told RageKage657 'Don't make me hurt you!' and the threat worked. He showed up yesterday with a gamer score of 6995 in his back pocket. That is a gain of 20 points over last time! He played Oblivion gaining 1 achievement, FC Instincts Predator, Geometry Wars Evolved, Tomb Raider:Legend gaining 1 achievement, Battlefield 2: MC, and without even blinking! Ok, maybe he blinked once...

Yeah, I forgot because I left it in that standby type mode charging my controller so I shut down before it did. I'll make sure to rub it's warm body tonight before I sleep.

I wonder if it's still considered as being on during that time anyway? Forget that; it could end up like the whether or not a foetus is a full life or not debate and we don't want that!

Note: In case no-one has a clue what I'm on about, if you leave your controller connected to USB via the Play and Charge kit and then turn off the console by pressing the ring of light, the console will stay on in a semi-powered state charging the controller. Once it's done, the console turns itself off.

The system collects information every night. So it needs to check the first night, to get the current status, your last played games, score, etc.

Then the second night, it checks again and posts the difference between the two. That way it can comment on which games you played how your gamer score changed, etc.
